Q1: What’s the Big Deal About IMTS 2026?

If you’re in metal manufacturing, you must have heard of IMTS. It’s been around since 1927 and has developed into one of the largest manufacturing technology shows in the Western Hemisphere. It’s often called the “barometer” of local industry, and it ranks right up there with Germany’s EMO and Japan’s JIMTOF as one of the world’s biggest machine tool exhibitions.

IMTS

This year’s 35th edition covers over 1.2 million square feet with more than 1,800 exhibitors. Its main themes include industrial AI, automation smart production, additive/subtractive manufacturing and so on, with live demos showing how these tools are being applied on the factory floor.

Q2: What’s Happening at FABTECH This Year?

FABTECH has been North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event for over 40 years. This October, it returns to Las Vegas for the first time in a decade, bringing equipment, suppliers and technical expertise together in one place. If you’re in metal fabrication, this is where you can compare automation, smart factory and precision fabrication solutions side by side.

FABTECH

This year’s show floor spans 725,000 square feet with more than 1,400 exhibitors across 40 categories of exhibits. Expect live demos of press brakes, laser cutting systems, welding automation and finishing technologies, plus 180+ expert-led sessions.

Q3: What Has SENFENG Achieved at The Shows Over the Years?

SENFENG has exhibited at IMTS and FABTECH for years, consistently using these platforms to launch new laser technology and connect with North American customers. Our presence has grown steadily, reflecting our commitment to the U.S. and even American markets.

SENFENG USA

At IMTS 2024, we generated significant on-site interests and built valuable relationships with distributors and end users across the Midwest. At FABTECH 2025, we secured nearly $1 million in on-site orders, with follow-up orders exceeding $1.5 million. Today, our high-power laser cutters, welders and automation solutions are running in factories across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, backed by our local subsidiaries in Los Angeles and Houston.

SENFENG USA

SENFENG is also a regular exhibitor at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) and WESTEC. Our continued presence at these key regional events reflects our deep commitment to the U.S. market and our growing influence among American manufacturers.

Q4: What Will SENFENG Be Showcasing?

We’re bringing our A-game to 2026. Our booths will be live demo platforms for a one-stop metal forming solution like laser cutting, bending, welding, marking and automated metal processing line, not just static displays. Every machine you see is a production-ready solution designed to boost your capabilities. Here’s a look at what we’ll have on hand:

√ Sheet Laser Cutter

This flagship model, H4 offers state-of-the-art laser technology at a more accessible price point. This fully-enclosed machine with pallet changers is perfect for cutting medium-thick plates. What’s more, this model is newly compatible with our latest intelligent air cutting in 2026. In this way, users can enjoy the lower operating costs than nitrogen cutting and much faster speed than oxygen cutting.

√ Tube Laser Cutter

Our 6024GNT 3-chuck bevel tube laser cutter is built to cut small tubes accurately. With features like ultra-short or zero tailing and ±45° bevel cutting, this machine is ready to slot right into your production line for downstream welding. Multiple models are also available to fit your specific requirements.

Tube Laser Cutter

√ CNC Press Brake

The BDE13032 CNC press brake is designed for large workpieces (length: 3200mm, bending force: 1300kN, plate thickness: 3-7mm), also with other dozens of models to match different bending needs. Unlike flexible panel benders, they offer lower upfront costs while still handling relatively thick metals at high precision. They’re a perfect complement to our laser cutting systems.

Press Brake

√ Laser Welder

Such compact air-cooling laser welder is easy to move due to its light weight (40-55kg) and much smaller size than before. It is fast, produces minimal heat deformation, and works across a wide range of applications. With high flexibility and low labor and operating costs, they’re a cost-effective alternative to traditional welding.

Laser Welders

√ CNC Machine Tool

We’ll also be showing our vertical machining center. It can carry out vertical milling, drilling, boring, expanding, tapping and other processes after one-time clamping of workpiece, with no manual repeated adjustment. So, it is suitable for workpieces in complex shapes, under high precision and frequent changes in varieties.

√ Laser Marking Machines

Three laser marking machines deliver high-speed, precise engraving on a range of metals. With a stable fiber laser source, they produce permanent, high-contrast marks at micron-level accuracy. They’re maintenance-free, energy-efficient and come with user-friendly software, ideal for fast production, serialization, and traceability.

√ Metal Processing Line

This one-stop metal processing line takes into account of coiled steel feeding, decoiling, leveling, cutting, bending, welding and unloading at high degree of automation. In a word, you can enjoy automated operations from raw materials to finished products.

Every machine will be running on-site, so you can see exactly how it performs and know which one is more suitable for you?

Q5: What Local Supports Will You Count On from SENFENG?

We know that great equipment is only half the equation—you also need support you can rely on. That’s why SENFENG has established a strong local presence here in the U.S. We have subsidiary offices in both Los Angeles and Houston, positioned to serve our American users quickly. Here are live-action videos of these two subsidiaries.

Our local teams handle everything from original factory parts to prompt maintenance and technical supports. That means no long waits for overseas shipping and no guesswork. When you invest in SENFENG, you’re getting a reliable partner with a support network right here at home.

Q6: Let’s Shape the Future Together

IMTS and FABTECH are where trends get spotted, partnerships get built and the future of the industry takes shape. We’re confident that the machines and tchnical innovations we’re bringing will inspire you and give you real solutions for your business.

Let's Shape the Future Together

IMTS is almost here. If you’re local to Chicago or the Midwest, this is your best chance to see our machines running live without traveling across the country. Stop by Booth 237400 in the North Building, Level 3—we’d love to meet you.

This is your personal invitation to step into the future with SENFENG. Mark your calendar, book your travel, and get ready to see something impressive. We can’t wait to welcome you to our booths, talk through your needs, and show you why we’re at the forefront of the global manufacturing revolution.
